Grantura diff capacity

Can someone please give me the capacity of the differential unit
I have always filled to the level of the side filler plug,on this diff the filler plug is on the top of the casing

Is there not a little dip-stick attached to the filler plug?


If not I'd improvise something and go for a little less than half full

According to the Grantura manual the capacity of the diff is 2.25 pints.
