Hi, anybody used this tyre? Looking to try something different to yoko a048 in 13 inch.

I am racing on them this year in CSCC Magnificent 7s. I chose them because of their price compared to the alternatives, helped by the fact that I get a discount via a mate!

I am afraid that I don't have any experience of driving my car on anything else in the dry but these seem very good so far, although slightly heavier than Yoko A048s, I think. Wear rate and dry grip is very good and I don't see any reason why I wont continue to use them next season. I haven't used them in damp conditions.

A mate of mine races an MG Midget (probably a similar power to weight to my 7) and has used both the AR1s and the Yoko A048s this season. He reports that feel and lap times are comparable.
