Hello,

Been struggling on insurance and would love help or advice,

I was looking at a Audi A5 2.0 TFSI S Line which was coming up around £2500 so thought perhaps reduce the price and engine of the car I'm after to reduce monthly payments and I'm struggling even more to find a reasonable quote on a A3 1.5 TFSI Black Edition which is coming out just as expensive,

I have held my license just under two years with 0 NCB as I've had company cars and would be my first personal car,

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated! I know its not going to be cheap however that seems very expensive?

Thank you in advance!!! smile

Try putting a parent or 2 on the insurance. Even if they dont ever drive it, having a 55 year old person with many years NCB can lower the cost.

Also, ring the companies up and talk to them. While you have 0 NCB, you do have a driving record because you've had a company car. Some might/will take that into account. If you know who your CC insurance was with they would be a good place to start.

The company car insurance company should be able to supply a letter confirming your driving record with them.

However some insurance companies take them towards a NCB, others don’t so shop around. I’ve found Admiral pretty good price wise.
