Wife just got one of these for herself and as a kid's learning car, winter runabout. I think I might be commandeering it as a shoot truck.

I've admired them from when they first arrived about 25 years ago but seriously impressed now we've got one. A hoot to drive - petrol twin air. Really roomy and comfy seats. Rear doors are massive for easy access. Even boot big enough for a decent shop. I expected it to be a bit scary on the motorway but has coped in the torrential rain and wind without a problem. Pulling well between j25 and j24 on M62 which is always a test for a weedy car.

Bluetooth and USB connection not the most intuitive to set up but works OK.

Maybe I'm going blind but I like the look of the thing even in white.

I recently bought a green TA 4x4 for family run around duties. We all love it.
Not impressed with the average mpg but to be far I was aware it could be pretty shocking before I bought it.

Great cars - stick a set of winter tyres on it and when the snow arrives, you’ll be going places that “proper” 4x4s fear to tread

There’s a lot to be said for low weight....

I had the latest generation Panda TA Cross.

Pound for pound, best car I’ve ever had.

Get one. A Panda 4x4 has been one of the best and one of the worst cars I have owned.

I once got a lift in one straight up to the top of the mountain in Sestrieres.
Couldn’t believe how it went up the really steep bits.
