I've developed a casual interest in jazz recently and quite fancy going to a jazz festival. Can anyone suggest a good one? Is the forthcoming London event any good?

The London jazz festival is good.
It’s spread across all different venues over town, over ten days.

Based in the midlands.

To be honest I am really only just learning about the genre, and so far I haven't found anything I really don't like. I have the radio in one of our cars permanently tuned to Jazz FM, which is a broad church I know. But they play some good stuff.

This morning's Youtube playlist included some Dave Brubeck, Hugh Masekela, some swing, some electro swing and some 20s/30s stuff. I used to like jazz funk as a youngster.

What do you play?
