Period aftermarket wheels/goodies

Anyone running period aftermarket wheels or accessories on their classics. Any pics of past or present cars ?
Last week I won a set of 5 Goodyear Gemini wheels on eBay from the early seventies for my GT6.
Bob my lab is helping refurb them this weekend

I've a set of period RFX Revolutions set aside for my Lancer. They still make them, so next year I may treat myself to a set of 15's because getting decent quality 14 inch tyres is not as easy as it once was.

I've got two sets of early '70s Mk3 Cosmic 5x10s which are quite rare, I acquired both sets within a fortnight of each other back in 2016 and have never seen them on another car...





When sold new they were painted black with polished highlights...



My other Mini project currently has Mk2 6x10 Cosmics, I love the deep dish on these...



I've lost count of how many sets of Minilites I've bought in the last thirty years

Meant to add - the interior of the Cooper S has a 'Radbourne' dash, SPQR rev counter pod, door arm rests, a Nardi steering wheel and a period roof console which still needs some shiny bits fitting to it...











The Benelite grille and lamps came with the car...



And I've added a period tax disc...



Picked up these period parking lamps a few years ago which I'll be fitting to both Minis...

They were a lucky find..! The car isn't actually black, it's very dark metallic purple, it was originally Island Blue with a Snowberry White roof but I've always liked the Radford and W&P colours so I just went for it...

Cosmics are great looking wheels mk1,2 or 3’s. I had a set on my TR for a while, sold the car and kept the wheels, I then sold the wheels as someone offered silly money for them. Always regretted it as they are near on impossible to find in a 15 inch triumph pattern

They really suit the TR, very nice indeed. The same 15s were also fitted to some early XJ6s, one of the period ads for them has a Series 1 XJ6 wearing them, here it is in the April '71 issue of Motor Sport...

Yep, lots of period parts on my old Sunbeam-Lotus (owned 1988-2004) including period Webasto sunroof (unfortunately), pukka Grp4 magnessium Minilites, works style Springalex steering wheel, works AP brakes, works Bilstein suspension, works 2.2 s/rack, period Cibie lamps, and lots of Aeroquip hoses for the fuel system and brakes.....oh and a Quaife diff.

How about a list of who did what for the boy racers of their day. Being a triumph man I would have drooled over the SAH/Triumphtune accessory catalogues. Would it have been Speedwell that all the BMC boys went for ? Who else

Jack brabham did a nice line of accessories along side his racing career for various manufacturers. Although the originals are thought not to survive they converted a few Heralds to Coventry Climax power. Someone has recreated a rather lovely replica that used to be at many of the Triumph shows

GKs seem to look good on almost any wheel but the JA Pearce mags are beautiful. The owner of this 1970 Mk3 Mini which started life as basic 850 had a new set made up...



Much nostalgic pleasure to be found amongst this lot... warning, more shameless Mini content...!
