Bainbridge Exhausts?
Discussion
Hi All
Sorry nothing very exciting here, comes under the boot sticker saying ‘My other cars a Peugeot 406’.
Anyone heard of Bainbridge exhausts? I’m irritated that I asked a local garage for the OEM system and it ended up as a Bainbridge. The car is a turbo charged petrol and obviously the right system match is important.
Wouldn’t happen in a the TVR!

Haven't heard of them for a while. Bought by TI some years ago, then dissappeared. TI used to buy/sell/close companies on a dialy basis so I've no idea what happened to them then.
I had a Bainbridge exhast system on a Stag 10 or 12 years ago. Lasted about 18 months before it rotted through and I bought a "SS" (company in devon) stainless one. Cost about 20 quid more and still looked new when I sold the car 8 years later.
Don't wish to malign them, I think they were well respected once, just my experience.
Cheers
Andy
