thinking of swapping my m3 for a 996 c2, what are real prices from franchised dealers for a 20-30000 mile car? porsche website prices look on the high side...!

they are from OP Centres.
Not sure how much barganing you can do. Certainly a bit although popular colours go quickly from my local opc and when I looked at 2 year old 996 there was no barganing and the week later it was sold.

Gone for a new 996 (canceled order) and love it.

I looked at 98 (S) 996 at OPC Solihull they were happy to throw in 24 months warranty + 18" alloys in the package car price £43000. very tempting but was tiptronic and I want a manual.
By the way don't bother trying to get the GT3 kitted version, they last about an hour on the forecourt.

I brought my C2 Cab from Dick Lovetts and it was up for 49k the week before I had a test drive (found it in top marque). Then they brought it down to 46,995k. I go it for 44,500k so this meens you should haggle BIG time!!!!

OPC'c work to around an £8k (min) margin!! so they always have room to 'do a deal ' if a car is not shifting
