Help BMW warranty question
Discussion
Apologies for the cross-posting with bm3w.com.
A real quick one but what ISN'T covered on the warranty for a car approaching 100,000 miles?
A bmw dealer friend of mine tells me that after 60,000 a few things are excluded from the warranty - suspension and brake parts being excluded over 60,000 miles??? I've never heard of this, but it kind of makes sense. Is he talking bull, or is the BMW extended warranty not as comprehensive as I'd hoped?
Are there 2 different BMW warranties perhaps? A 'used car' warranty and a 'new car' warranty (which can be extended)?
Looking to buy this weekend so really need to know!
AFAIK everything is covered as long as you keep extending it and have it serviced by a main dealer. The only exception to this would be wear & tear items such as tyres, brake discs, etc.
Surely if higer mileage cars had a lesser cover then the price should be reduced?
News to me if this isn't the case; have you phoned BMW UK?
