Gearbox problem

My classic mini gearbox is gone real sticky. 1 and 2 is sticky. but 3 and 4 is ok. it dont make any funny noises or anything just real sticky as someone put a glue on 1 and 2 selector... Any idea why? and what the fix ?

hi try striping the small box under the gear lever we had a sticky lever due to grease being old we washed it out and re greased all ok now

is it stiff across the gates ie left to right ?

Its stiff in 1 and 3, really smooth and free on 2 and 4 gates

you could be luky, nd it does sound like slector box. if not its out wi the box nd check th revere idler gear bushes .
