Two big events are imminent for me in the next couple of months: retiring to Norfolk and buying my first Aston smile

I have had an offer accepted on a property in Catfield, North Norfolk.
Cash for my Aston will be available in October.

I'd be grateful for a recommendation from any other Aston owner in this area as to where the best place would be for servicing and repairs.

Stratton Motors is nearest but I think this is an authorised dealer. Rikki Cann is further away in Essex but is a specialist. Most of the reading I've done over the last year leads me to believe that a good specialist may be less expensive and offer a better service?

All responses and recommendations are most welcome.

Cheers.

I also live in Norfolk and have used Stratton Motor Company in the past to get the service stamp on my 2007 V8 Vantage. I can't think of any other specialist in Norfolk.

Since AM Cambridge closed, Stratton have been inundated with work, so book in early as wait times can be lengthy. I have also used my local garage for some work and also do a lot myself, including changing air and cabin filters, changing wing strakes, paintwork, sat nav upgrade, headlight repairs etc. So if you find a Norfolk-based Aston specialist do let me know!

I had a terrible experience with Stratton after buying my DB9, and many other Aston owners I meet have similar horror stories. PM if you want the gory details.

For 'the stamp' I now go to Nicholas Mee. A bit of a trek, but worth it - the polar opposite of the Stratton monkeys.

For classic stuff, I can possibly assist. Not AM specialist, but Lancia. We do have an ex-Stratton employee who would have some familiarity.
