Help with speedo

Hi, I’ve fitted a quaife g60 sequential box in my car and the existing caterham speedo isn’t connected, this is because there is no speedo drive in the gear box to do so.

Ideally I want to keep the old (original clock) in place and for the speed to work and to continue to log mileage too.

Can it be done with a speed sensor of the front hub say, and wired into the clock?
Or is there a different way?

I know I could change to a gps unit but ideally would like to keep my clock if poss.

Any help would be appriciated.
