Yep, pinched wholesale off sone blokes who thought it up as a ruse.

Film comes out next year. Directed by Richie Cunningham, Tom Hanks in the lead role. Ecclestone in talks.

Its going to massive and I'll want to hide away from it all no doubt.

Heh...

I read your post and chuckled at the satire. Then I thought, "Hang on is he serious?". Then I said "Nah...". Then "But it sounds so plausible...."

True. But then it didn't pretend to be.

For me the ONLY way that book could've been half interesting would be if it was 100% true. Even then I would've shrugged my shoulders....

Each to their own and all that.

Not in my copy it doesn't...

It just lists a few things that he says are fact ie.. The Priory of Sion, The Vatican prelature known as Opus Dei and that all descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents and secret rituals are accurate.

Yes, but the book and the film 'Fargo' said that too, when it was just a novel and a film of the novel. That's the thing about fiction, you can say things like that, because it's part of the fiction.

no it doesnt.

It says the secret societies, locations and historical events are true.

Now, it was proved that one of the societies was a hoax...

But even so - if the Hitchikers Guide To the Galaxy said in the beginning 'the universe as described is all true' would you believe it?

But they arent and it was ripped off anyway.

How Dan Brown can claim credit for it is astonishing.

Load of old toss from the start to the finish.
