Just a quick question:

Friend of mine is contemplating joining the Stock Rod series, 1600cc non-contact banger racing. The regs state 1600cc normally aspirated engined cars, no engine mods, exhaust standard to downpipe, suspension standard etc. So what would you buy ?

He's been looking at Fiesta XR2 or Orions.....any other suggestions ?

Cheers

Paul

Fantastic idea !!!! Which brings me, unfortunately, to a point I missed...........must be either saloon, coupe or hatch but no 2 seaters.

Thanks anyway

Any chance of picking up an early 106 gti or saxo. Possibly from a salvage company with light accident damage....

See original post........Normally aspirated ! So no GTI, SRI etc.........

Not as easy as he thought either. A decent sized, quickish, non injection 1600cc !
