280i oil pan clearance

Forgot to take a picture of the engine from underneath.
Anyone know how far down the pan sits, or have a picture of the underside?

Hi, in the absence of any other replies, my 280i, now sold, clearance between the front of the sump and the chassis was minimal. Less than 1/2" from what I remember. Did cause me speculation that it might cause vibration through the car. J C.
