Wasn’t particularly looking for one but this one was local, was word of mouth through a friend of a friend - it wasn’t officially for sale but he had owned it 6 years and rarely used it since buying a 2017 Civic Type R so after a viewing and a bit of bartering it was mine!

It’s a 2003 with 107k and is reasonably well specced - full black leather, cruise control, sunroof etc
Been maintained by the same Indy that I know and trust in the time he has had it - including a Haldex service, resonated Milltek system & receipts for the chains being done.
It’s not without issues however - the bonnet & passenger door won’t open and the drivers door is misaligned, standard stereo buttons don’t work, missing rear wiper blade & aerial as well as the usual rusty mk4 arches & bubbling tailgate handle as well as a key mark on the passenger side - being picky it will probably get full paint done bar the roof.
Plan to keep it long term so won’t be a quick project, plan to keep it more or less OEM.
First step is to get it up to the Indy and work out the issue with the doors & bonnet etc, full check over and service - then deal with any minor issues before paint and wheel refurb next year.
Have an F10 5 series for everyday so this will just be a weekend car.

Looks good in the pictures (fellow MKIV R32 owner here
). See it’s got a sunroof, make sure the drain tubes are clear as they are prone to blocking. If they block you will end up with a soggy headlining and carpets.
There are 4 tubes, the front drains are the black rubber tubes (angled down) just inside the doors below where the wiring goes to the door.
The rear drains are below the rear lights up inside the bumper.

Unfortunately, MKIV’s of this age do start to suffer with ingress issues. I think I have finally got mine water tight.
Another common place for water to get in is from behind the door cards. There is a big metal plate which has all the electric window gubbins attached to it.
There is a foam seal around the edge of the plate which perishes over time. The metal plate is the silver/gray bit in photo.
Tell tail sign if water is getting in here, there will be wet patches on the plastic trim that goes over the sill on the inside.
