What's eating my plants?

I put my bedding plants in at the weekend (I know it's a bit early, but I like life on the edge ) and something's eating them. I'm not a happy bunny, anyone know what's been a munching in my garden?

It's almost certainly snails or slugs at this time of year.

They can be amazingly destructive.

And as an unforseen bonus, slug pellets can be harmful to cats.... That'll teach next doors bastard moggie to come into MY garden
