Viper stripes?

I have been considering getting viper stripes for my racing green elise (see profile) and thought I would canvas for peoples opinions.

The options are:

1. White
2. yellow
3. none and leave it the hell alone!

Would consider other colours but thought those two would be the best suited.

What colour's the interior?

If it's beige then yellow, if it's black then silver or a very light metallic green.

It is the fairly light magnolia leather

I think yellow would look pretty cool though but then white would also!

my initial thought was white but the traditional yellow colour scheme would look pretty good I reckon

I have printed a type 25 as an example to gage opinion and to take along to the stripe supplier

Go for the Yellow stripes, you can then park anywhere because they blend in with the Double yellow lines on the road

Sorry to Hi-Jack the thread, but i've been thinking about Viper Stripes as well. And have a similar problem with colour choice. I think my minds made up, but want some backing from the people in the know, you lot!

I've got an Aubergine Metalic Series 2 111s and want either Silver, Black or Yellow stipes.

I have black leather, Silver wheels.

Would black stripes show up enough? Be nice and suttle?

Is yellow too much on such a dark back-ground?

Please give me your opinion.

I think yellow would look better on the green car - or maybe one yellow and one white, like on the yellow Exige that was at the NEC motorshow last year?

Noit sure about the aubergine option - I think the car looks stunning as it is. White or yellow would look odd, I guess silver could look decent, but I'd leave well alone if it where me!

One of the members in Midland Lotus Owners Club recently put 2 white stipes on to his standard Lazer Blue S2 and it looks great. Only cost £40 as they did it themselves by using a hairdyer to apply the stripes - time consuming but well worth it... log on to MLOC to have a look...

In answer to the question what colour - I'd say silver.

However, I wouldn't get the stripes (I stress this is just personal opinion!). That aubergine colour is lovely, and don't think it needs changing at all! Looks spot on.

Get a subtly different tone of grey/sliver to offset it. Will look

If I get a set they will be from a friends dad who makes signs etc and has all the vinyl cutting gear.

I think I may get them in yellow for Le Mans and then see if I will keep them afterwards.

One white one yellow?! not sure about that. I thought I had made my mind up and then someone comes up with another idea damn!
