Garage in London to Fit an exhaust - GT3 Touring
Discussion
Hi All,
I am looking for a garage (not too far from Central London) that is able to fit a rear bypass on a GT3 Touring. I am also considering a full exhaust system (headers, etc) in the near future.
Due to warranty issues I need a cost effective garage that will not charge me an arm and leg to fit an exhaust or return to stock before a service or warranty claim. Any advice?
Thank you

Thanks guys. Pricing is important as I will be swapping between vehicles and before every service.
Why?What's the point of having the hassle and cost of swapping between vehicles, just buy another bypass.
Also, wouldn't bother about the OPC seeing it at service time. Mine has been in with the bypass and no problems.
We're not in London sorry but we do have a lot of customers who use us for install / removal of GT3 bypass pipes on a regular basis. Current record holder is actually another Touring which we have now fitted / removed / fitted / removed / fitted / removed / fitted for a multitude of warranty reasons! Crazy situation as the OPC know it has a Sharkwerks bypass pipe fitted but the owner insists on it being back to OE before it goes in for warranty work.....
Anyway, the process takes 1.5 hours to either fit the bypass or remove so any prices you get should be in line with this time.
At the end of the day the soundtrack a 991.2 GT3 makes with a Sharkwerks bypass fitted makes it all worthwhile!

OK, I have a Touring. How much better could it sound? Also, I have a 987 Spyder which I really love, but it sounds a bit feeble - anything I can do with that (Mr Demon's sounds pretty good).Anyway, the process takes 1.5 hours to either fit the bypass or remove so any prices you get should be in line with this time.

How much better could it sound? A rear bypass or full exhaust makes a big difference.I haven’t driven my touring yet but have been driving the .2 3RS. It sounds great but I can tell a side or rear bypass would make a big improvement. Full Exhaust with headers would be epic!

OK, the mechanically incompetent, what do I need to do to get the right sound on 987.2 Spyder....
Although you are hijacking my thread on good garages near London, I am happy to help. there 3 are good options bud.1) rear bypass (good bang for buck)
2) side bypass (reduces weight by a good amount and improves sound. Good value also)
3) full system... headers on back (most expensive but best sound, with weight savings and power gains).
Budget and warranty permitting 3 is the best by a good margin. 1 or 2 are for the budget or warranty concerned.
Of this is a car you want to keep for many years go with option 3 and don’t think twice.

If it were my car, I wouldn’t think twice and would contact Jamie at Dundon Motorsport. There stuff is bulletproof, has lifetime warranty and has real power gains. He will apply a discount if you are ready to buy. He is a good man.
Buy from them then get a garage to install.
Lastly, if near London I would love to hear it sometime.
Enjoy in good health bud
