Iron Maiden. MANCHESTER
Discussion
You're now the third person to comment on how good Maiden are on the current Legacy of the Beast tour! Definitely one of the best gigs I've been to!

I was at the NEC (sorry, Genting Arena) last night too. Gig was superb. Bruce was 60 yesterday but he has the energy of a 30 year old, amazing. His voice is still epic and the band were really on it. I've seen Maiden 6 times going back to Brum Odeon World Slavery Tour 84 and last night was one of the best performances I've seen. Set list was interesting and the backdrop/effects were really good. On this evidence they can keep on going for a while yet!
Saw them at Newcastle on July 31st - truly a fantastic show. As mentioned already, their energy is incredible, all of them (maybe not Dave Murray, he's quite static I suppose). The stage set is inspired, and the choice of songs just perfect - I've fallen in love with The Clansman, For The Greater Good Of God and Sign Of The Cross all over again.
Britain's greatest ever heavy rock band? I think they might just be exactly that.

Just had to say, last nights gig was probably the best gig I've been to in 10 years.
How the hell Bruce runs round like that for 2 hours at his age is beyond me.
Truly awesome
Seconded. Only recently started listening to them so didn't know even know many of the songs - I was blown away not just by how good they were, but also how good the crowd were. Everyone was on their feet and it was the best atmosphere at a gig I've experienced in a long time, such a feelgood experience. How the hell Bruce runs round like that for 2 hours at his age is beyond me.
Truly awesome
I was also at the Pearl Jam gig at the O2 in London last month and it was dull by comparison.
