Does anyone know which group/individual organises the Sunday night car cruise which culminates in the south second street car park in Milton Keynes? It is making residents’ life hell and short of the police and council stopping it (actions are underway in this regard) I’m keen to appeal to the organisers’ better nature and ask that they take this cruise elsewhere. They’ve had a good few years in this location but it’s time they moved on. There were still a few stragglers at 2:30am (ridiculously) beeping their horns in symphony.

I thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Not sure who organises it, but good luck and I hope it gets shut down soon.

I know Lowdown and CarCulture do chav meets in MK but I THINK they are quite civilised (no revving etc), but I'm not sure because I went once and only stayed for about 15 minutes.

agreed that the noise of small engines hitting rev limiters is really irritating in the dead of sunday night, and we're a couple of miles away

equally irritating, it also makes cmk a bit of a no-go area on sunday evenings in a conspicuous car

loads of ammunition for the anti-car bandwagon i'm afraid...

I had no idea they met there, assuming that's the car park opposite the Jaipur?

Anyway, I follow a guy on Instagram called supercarsmk who organises the odd event, but I've no idea of they are the Sunday meet. His Instagram profile also links a few other users who you could reach out to.

I'd be surprised if there is any form of organisation for these gatherings. I live fairly local and can remember them at the same location 10+ years ago... when it was a car park for the Hockey Stadium rather than NR.

Typically the meets which are organised (such as the ones mentioned above) are in different locations e.g. Kingston and Stacey Bushes.

It's not an organised thing, and been going on for years, occasionally they get shifted on, and go down towards Tattenhoe/Snellshall for a tear about.

Every once in a while the Lowdown group gather there or one of the multi storeys nearby, but anything other than that in terms of organisers, i dont think you'll find any.
