Anyone have any ideas on places that do loose aggregate - specifically gravel - for drive up collection in Southampton?

I’ve been to Travis Perkins and they don’t do it anymore!!! Guy said nowhere does it anymore so couldn’t suggest anywhere to get it.

I only need 3 ton and don’t want to spank £30+ on delivery charges for bulk bags when I can just get it in a trailer myself!!

Jewson in Hazel Road used to have a weighbridge and they'd load a trailer up for you.

Failing that, have you tried South Coast Building Suppliers (by St Marys Stadium) - IIRC, it's free delivery for any order over about £30.

It’s was the one on Hazel Road I went to, I thought it was TP though but didn’t really look! They said they’ve stopped doing it and I “wouldn’t get it anywhere”! Not sure if he thought I said gravel or unicorn poo, but he seemed adamant smile

Not heard of south coast building supplies but will give them a shout, cheers thumbup

Another one that might be worth trying is Kendalls - http://www.kendalls.co.uk/locations.php

Not in Southanpton, but their prices for loose might be useful to comparie with bulk bagged from someone like South Coast.

The wharf in Fareham is another spot you can head to and they will load a trailer. Bit more of a journey though...

I used TJ Waste for a load of 4/10 gravel and it was very well priced, including delivery to Southampton.

Collection available from Chichester... might be worth the trek if the price is right for you.
