390SE Drivers seat back adjust leaver

Hi all

is it possible to replace the missing/broken drivers seat adjuster leaver on my 86 390SE ?

Does any one have any info please ?

This is a seat from an S Series but I think they're pretty much the same..............

If the lever is broken, other than some nifty welding, I think you'll need the complete hinge assembly? Fingers crossed someone has a scrap seat lying around spare

I don’t have the leaver so a complete hinge part if anyone has an old seat out there, or would be up for changing the seats as they are not the best anything out there ?

Apparently the seats are the same as Fiat X19 so may be worth looking at that....You can swap the seats around so that the drivers is now the passengers...the only thing will be the adjusters on the inside next to the transmission tunnel cover...There are some seats for sale on our FB group but they need total restoring....

thanks for the info chaps, not sure what I will do at the moment as I don't like the seats a bit on the small side for me, very low back etc was thinking of maybe changing them as the car is going for a complete restoration hopefully over the winter.

I was told mine are chim seats.very comfortable. Colin

Mazda Miata (MX5) seats fit. Although I went back to the originals.

The Nissan SX seat I had in the 280i were higher backed.....not by much though....
