sports exhaust, induction kit, sports cat will give you 5-10bhp and a lot more noise.

after that its surgery time - have a look at www.dvapower.com for options for the VVC engine...

You really want more power that much after just six weeks?! I think your mad!!! You'll lose quite a bit I reckon.

Was trying to kepp up with Boxer 2.7 and a Nisaan 350.. (Just)....

Hence the "more power" request...
Suppose I'll just have to wait for the corners..

Surprised the 350Z gave you any probs even in a straight line. May be that after only 6 weeks the engine needs to loosed up some more ?

Wait until the bends is about the best desciption there is for any Lotus, especially the Elise. If you are behind either of those 2 cars on a twisty road, you will not only keep up with them easily, but stand more than a fair chance of overtaking them. Assuming the road allows. If you are in front of them, dont worry about looking in the rear view mirror for long, cos they wont be there.

Edited cos I cant spell

Oh Brian is gonna love you, makes some cash on a 111S deal then you go back for a 111R, this is assuming you bought it from F1 Lotus in Newcastle?

Drive it a bit - mines done 3500 miles and starting to loosen up nicely. I can leave standard boxsters and 330 bm's for dust in a straight line let alone any corners.

111r not really much quicker on normal driving conditions as the power band is pretty narrow and its heavier - quicker on a track though
