big-end thread size?

Can someone tell me what thread the big end bolts are please?
I need to replace one of the nuts which is cross-threaded. It's from a 1972 Range Rover if it makes any odds.

I wouldn't worry about what thread it is; give Rimmer Bros a call in Lincoln, they stock every engine spare you'll ever need! Do Landie dealers not keep them?
I have some spare (used) con-rod T-bolts and nuts if you're really penny-pinching... ;-)

I'll come clean. The motor is forming the bottom half of a coffee table and will not be running again. I'm just re-assembling the bottom end for show. It looks pretty cool so far.

great stuff. reminds me of those cosworth dfv wine bottle holders they used to advertise in motor sport. send a pic when it's done .

I made a lamp stand out of a crank shaft once, it cleaned up well and got painted white. Looked good IMHO.

A mate of mine used to keep his Kawasaki Z900 in the lounge; made a hell of an ornament! Errr... till it went through the floorboards... ;-)
