My Audi A1 1.6 Diesel making some ticking noise from the passenger side when I turn on the engine ignition, it sounds like coming from storage box and lasts for few seconds. Please see video from the following links, any ideas what would make this noise?

Thanks

Sometimes a motorised air distribution flap can drive against the end stop and you get a pronounced "clicking" sound. It can normally be resolved by resetting the position motors using VCDS.

Hi no, when I put the AC on recirculating mode, the noise will not stop and even louder, any ideas why might cause the problem?

Can't remember what VCDS stands for , but it's the software that talks to your car software/hardware . With the software and correct cable you could do it yourself, but if you look on Briscoda.net, you'll find a list of posters with the software and who lives where, who will possibly be able to help you.
