My new Jet Fighter for the road
McLaren 720S Performance
It goes like one, and the glass canopy makes me feel like I'm sitting in a jet fighter too!
I'm in central Kent, so if you guys see it around, it's me
Just some quick phone pics for now. I will take better ones when it's back from the detailer.
It actually looks a lot better in the metal than in pics, as you can't see many of the small aero details and hidden channels in pics.

Looks like it's on fire when the sun shines on it. The effect is far stronger in the metal, than on video.

Thanks guys
I'm finding it incredibly good, even though I'm holing back on the power as I'm running it in. Goes around bends like its on rails.
Suspension is so astonishing it's like witchcraft.
Best car I've ever driven - and I've driven a lot of super and hyper cars.
Cracking

I’m due to do a super car type track day at Brands in September and 1 of the packages includes a 458, a Huracan and a McLaren, a 650 I think

Only 4 laps in each but I can’t wait.
I’m in Kent every morning now with work so will keep my eyes peeled.

To the best of my knowledge McLaren haven't even started designing the 7xxLT yet. And I asked a number of their factory development people (as I have it on order). They are currently working on the 720S Spider, and even that is only in multiple prototype design & engineering test versions currently.

You will have a great time. Just make sure they let you off the leash with them

These cars are actually causing a problem, along with a few Tesla Model Xs an SLS and the Lambos, as cars are meant to be parked on stackers, but of course you then can’t open the doors...

Took a couple of pics just before sunset at Leeds Castle
Seem to suit the car.

Do you have any particular roads where you can use even a fraction of the performance on offer? I’m in East London so can go north to Sussex or South to Kent, but am really struggling to find any “supercars friendly” (smooth, open, decent speed limit) roads.
