Can I just be the first to say that never have such a bunch of scumbags so richly deserved to go out on penalties.
That is all

Probably wouldn't have got that far if the headbutting nob had been sent off like he should have been.

So every single player is compromised by a geezer who died 20 or so years ago? Sheesh.

That's kinda sad when you think about it.

Yeah right, and googling "South American football corruption" only yields 28,000,000 results!

Whilst Googling "English football corruption" yields a mere 24,600,000 results!

They need a video ref like NRL, maybe then the South American teams would get the punishments they deserve.

Ref should've checked VAR for that. The England players told him what had happened but he didn't bother. Ref should've been stronger as well, he let the cheating little tw*ts off with so much!

Need to draw attention to the action. Referees are not always looking and their assistants linesmen never see a thing.

I hated seeing that :-/.

Columbia were horrific, and Falcao must be the nastiest captain I've watched play for a long time. Behaviour towards the Ref throughout the game!

Normally I'd be outraged at such behaviour however Colombia deserved it. If the team we're playing against are determined to cheat at every opportunity, then ensuring the referee is aware of said cheating is a perfectly reasonable tactic.

What's sad is that the match yesterday demonstrated to a whole generation of kids that you can largely get away with being cheating scumbags in the professional game as referees aren't prepared to punish such actions suitably. Fortunately, the antics were unsuccessful and I hope the Colombian players enjoy their long flight home.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

It’s rather satisfying when cheats don’t win
