Caterham Day - Yorks Convoy?

I know a few of us are going to the Caterham day down at Silverstone on the 8th, seeing as I hate mornings I am planning on heading down on the Saturday and overnighting.

I have posted on the event thread about a hotel I have found for 50 sheets a night not far from the circuit. www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=172143&f=23&h=0&p=3

Does anyone fancy heading down with me on the Saturday? I will have a passenger seat if anyone needs a lift or we could have our own little convoy.

Seeing as I am prepping the Porsche for Le Mans I will probably take my company car so will be in either a Mitsubishi L200 Warrior pickup or a Colt CZT turbo, probably leaving Scarborough at lunchtime for a nice cruise down and a pint with the others in the evening.

be cheaper on fuel in the porsche than the L200 pickup was in bridlington last night was going up to scarbourough but never made it how is buisness ???????? over there in the sticks

Probably won't be heading down until late afternoon on Saturday, but we're staying at the Travellodge in Towcester (45 sheets for twin room) and having a couple of cold ones in Towcester.

Booked into the Buckingham place as the Travelodge was full.
Should get there late afternoon if anyone fancies meeting up somewhere for a couple of pints.
