I hope this is the right area? EDIT: DIDN'T SEE THE 'STATE MODEL MAKE ETC' IN THE RULES. My bad.
I'd like to share a snap of my first car; 2010 Alfa MiTo. I clocked off work early & picked it up on Friday afternoon. I then went for a long drive with my girlfriend to get used to the car and to see what it can do. Unreal fun, The more I drive it, the more I get used to it.

Now, I could've been safe and bought a Polo or a Fiesta but where's the fun in that?

Right area, but just show the car, or you leave yourself open to photoshops

Nice car. And your face is the same as the headlights too!

Funny you should say that, the Fiesta has the best chassis in its class and is far more "fun" than the Polo or Mito!
Still a nice first car though, enjoy!
Never said they weren't fun to drive, I meant to choosing what "everyone else has"Still a nice first car though, enjoy!

Congrats.
First cars these days are rather different to my generation (and older). I passed my test 1979 and my first car was a 1960 F-type Victor - it was older than me, obvs.

Nice first car, mine was a £400 old fiat panda, but i guess we all need to start somewhere! Enjoy it
Was that the one that was a box on wheels? I remember seeing them about when I was a kid, I liked the big badge back then.Kewy said:
Thats actually a bit un-settling.Vitorio said:
Not bad for a first car indeed
What engine/spec is it? did they already sell it with the twinair engine in 2010? I had one with the 135hp Turbo-MA engine back then, decently fast, but not as good as the 155hp i had before...
This is just the 1.3 basic model, so no DNA in this one! What engine/spec is it? did they already sell it with the twinair engine in 2010? I had one with the 135hp Turbo-MA engine back then, decently fast, but not as good as the 155hp i had before...

First car.......848cc 1967 Mini. 2 foot long gear lever that went down to the front of the car for ever at a 45 degree angle and waggled about, headlight dip/beam switch was operated by your left foot. I drove it like a lunatic and wrote it off up the chuff of a Ferrari 6 weeks after passing my test.
Rebuilt it and drove it to Italy and back. Fond memories of driving down Mount Vesuvius at night and having the lights fail on a bend. Just leaned down without stopping, much to the G/F's horror, and pushed the wires back onto the dipswitch. God, cars were rubbish then, rust buckets and unreliable, but so much fun and freedom to be had. Petrol 33p a GALLON, traffic at the levels you see now in the Scottish Highlands. Got my rosy tints on again....

I think I'd quite enjoy having another one now as a semi-classic bit of fun.
