Does anyone know where its possible to buy leather for re-upholstering the interior of your car. I actually need a supplier of the "raw material" (ugh!). As the car in question is in Sarawak (near Borneo) and a local company in Kuching can do the work...but don''t have access to supplies. Or at least they do but only from Canada and its expensive! So..a UK supplier of Leather..who could DHL the stuff to a company in Borneo. Hmmmn. Any ideas?

We use the same supplier as TVR so we could get as good a match as is possible (note that sun-fading, wear and slightly differing batch colours would make an exact match impossible to guarantee). What colour (I will assume automotive upholstery grade and thickness)and how much do you need? Clive Reed Zertec Limited info@zertec.co.uk www.zertec.co.uk

....without seeing the car or having a sample of leather. Assuming you would be retaining some of the original leather trim. Clive Reed Zertec Limited info@zertec.co.uk www.zertec.co.uk

Hey..thanks for your reply Clive. The car belongs to my sister and isn't actually a TVR (shame) it is...a Mercedes..!. I think that the whole of the interior will need replacing (burgundy) so I'm not sure an exact match would be required. I can get details of how many square metres are required. Any idea how much per m2 it is (rough range)?
