Hi all

I'm looking for a jetski, keen to know what the collective would recommend.

Budget between £5K-£6k
Yamaha or Seadoo seem to be the only two brands locally supported (Southport and Manchester)
Salt water use in the sea, an estuary and river
Occasionally will need to tow but not very often
Will sometimes need to do a 30 mile round trip in the sea
Sit down ski required
4 stroke ideal

Seems for this budget I can get everything from new 90bhp ones to 10 year old supercharged ones with 200hours on. No idea what's worth having and avoiding.

Thanks
Matt

I have a seadoo spark. Retail around the right money for your budget.

Upside is that they are small and light.

Downside is that they are small and light, nothing is quite as heavy duty as the full size bikes. The hull is plastic which is great for power / weight but ultimately means that you have to be more careful popping onto a pod or trailer.
