I have sold an expensive item which the seller is in france the address is as follows, can you tell me if it's correct? I've been trying to check online but can't find what I assume is the street

<house number> imp ty ar hoeit
56450 theix Bretagne
France

I understand Theix 56450 is an area in Brittany(?!) but why can't i find the street?

edit could / should it be:

Impasse Ty ar Hoët, 56450 Theix, France

?

yeah but that's my interpretation of it, the buyer actually has:

imp ty ar hoeit

If you put in the house number and go to street view, you will probably be able to see the house.

And his view of the cows opposite.

Yep, normal French shorthand for impasse.

You could ask him to e-mail you a photocopy of his Identity card, passport or driving license that confirms his name and address. It wouldn't be considered unusual here and won't put off a genuine buyer.

A French Post Code does not identify a house as it does in the UK. Usually it is the nearest town but can be an area around a town.
