Just heard yesterday that the tuscan challemge is no more i thought that the championship was going to be run for the tuscan and the new sagaris?
If its so then that is a really shame the best sports car race series dead can't belive it!!!!!!

Perhaps James cook can shed some light on this,or anyone else who races them.

i see tim hood and david caroline have entered the castle combe gt would be great to see a few more enter.

The 2005 Tuscan Challenge is being co-ordinated by John Reid and the first race is at Castle Combe on May 30th. Read some of the previous posts on this Forum
for more info.

Some of the Tuscan guys are entering the Castle Combe Special GT's on May 30th as well.

Mrs Hui

PS. By the way who is James Cook???

I suspect he means James Crofts. Much as I love dear old James, he's not who I would turn to for the latest news on the Tuscan Challenge.

Actually whilst we're on the subject of James - perhaps he could give us an update on the Sagaris GT car he was involved with - the one wich was going to compete in the Spanish GT Championship? I heard that the team haven't even bought a the car....

Tim was racing at Castle Combe today and was 2nd in class and 3rd overall in both Castle Combe Special GT races. Well done Tim!

Yup - well done Tim

Dave Caroline was taking his ARDS test (or should I say re-test) on Saturday, so hopefully he's sorted now.

I have a plan to be there. Especially if I can get an extra night's camping at Thruxton.

It was great to see a tuscan taking it to the radicals and the jadein the castle combe gt championship and being able to challenge!
Makes wonder where all of the tuscan's have dissappeared to considering there was at least 38 on a grid a few years ago.
I really hope that this new attempt works these cars are fab to watch and its a sad day if they all stay locked away in garage,so the best of luck to all that take part hope it can get back to its former glory
