I have been saying it for years, and he puts it a cross better than I do,
Makes me want to go out right now and drive mine.

Still no one really wants them bar a select few it seems it’s a tough battle on Piston heads.

Great video Catchpole at his finest.

Yep, nice vid but I think fans of the Spanish will stay in the vast minority. Credit to Porsche for bringing it back but I think it'll be a temporary stay of execution.

‘Tis a great vid by probably my favourite current automotive journalist. ( C Harris esq sadly doesn’t seem to make films like these any more) The coffee analogy is superb!

If you had the option why would you deny yourself something as wonderful as the Porsche 6 speed manual gearbox? cloud9

Nice. I took a manual M2 over a flappy for the same reason - but I’ll take an RS thank you very much, even if it’s flappy only..

Not sure why there should be any battle ??
Some prefer manual, some prefer PDK, and maybe some like me can have great fun with both.

Can we not just accept this and move on, mildly entertaining though the arguments can be on occasions ??

I'm making do with my Bialettismile although it's very nice fresh roasted Fazenda Cruzeiro from Brazil! Enjoy your drive in your 'manuel' smile

Unfortunately most prefer flappy paddles it seems. This is why we continue to applaud Porsche for giving us select few a manuel. And for sticking with n/a too. I'm grateful for HC promoting the cause so eloquently

Same here but I blame it on LaM advertising the all manual as "paddle" which was, of course, no option wink
