Holy cow, that's crazy! It's a bit easier to see than a nail though but don't suppose you can really fix that hole can you?

It was a new tyre Pirelli P7 245/45/17 - Formula One Tyre Centre, £92 fitted. Glad it didn't damage the rim tbh

I was wondering about the rim, so easily could have damaged it. Main thing is it didn't cause such a nasty sudden loss of air leading to an accident.
I'm glad to hear your daughter came out of it unscathed.
