Waterproofing Soft Tops?

When I got the Boxster the rain would bead and run off it like it does on waxed bodywork. It doesn't seem to bead as readily now - anybody got any good tips?

You can buy a sort of wax wash for your roof, will do a similar thing to well polished bodywork.

You could always go to your local outdoor pursuits shop and get some Barber jacket weatherproofer of course

There are 3 products recommended on the TVR pages

1. Fabsil
2. Thompsons
3. Renovo

All are equally as good.

AutoGlym also do a hood restorer / waterproofer.

However, you really can't go far wrong with either Fabsil (used to waterproof tents and available from Millets) or Thompson's Waterseal (for waterproofing brickwork but works great for hoods too, available from DIY stores).

Of course, being a Porsche owner you'd probabably prefer a more expensive option like the AutoGlymn product.
