First test match on Thursday 24th at Lords. Only two tests and no ODI series. Looking forwards to it and hopefully the weather will cooperate too.

I think it's a stupid idea not having any ODI or Twenty-Twenty. Leaving aside the fact that they're far more exciting I would have assumed that they would generate more money for the ECB as well.

Should be a competitive and interesting series. I get that it’s a commercial reason but from a cricketing point of view it’s silly to give India 5 tests later in the summer (they have been terrible tourists for 4-5 years) yet Pakistan, a side who have done well in England in recent times, only get two tests.

Im surprised we chose to bat first what with the weather conditions. Seems like the perfect morning for some swing bowling.

I expect Jimmy was thinking the same too.

to be fair - there's very little actual batting going on

Perhaps an hour for us to bowl tonight might be beneficial

All will be forgiven (ish..) if we can get 2/3 wickets before close.

That was poor from us. Careless batting from the top order again. Cook the only bright spot.

well the highlight of my day was a wander round at lunch and seeing Nigel Farage, apart from cook, woeful.
