Am I glad I dont do the football thing. Just spent the past couple of hours on my favourite roads top off and luving it. Dry warm spring evening and time to enjoy it, just listening to that 2nd cam come on line is just amazing. It all just comes together and the grin is as wide as the mersey tunnel. Cogs are just so well spaced to make most use of that sweet spot.
BUT,
cannot get away from the thought of clutch problems, its not a problem on the open road, but pulling away from junctions its a different story. Just normal style to, nothing excessive so i dont think its the smell of rubber. Looks like C Neils is due a little visit. Also drivers sill cover is cracking/breaking at the rear. It appears that the cover is about 5mm wider than the actual sill/chassis. So as I slide out it puts a lot of pressure on the edge of the cover. But that doesnt even dent the grin on my face at the moment. what a car.

PS, how do you post pics here, do you have to upload them onto another web site or can they come straight from my laptop? Hints please...........

Sounds good. I just got back from the pub after watching the game. Raining here anyway and I've just sold my car so not much else to do

Pics need to be hosted somewhere. To post them you need to type:

My drivers side sill cover is the same as yours - a 5mm gap runs down the inside edge, with the outside being stretched out. Thing is it lines up with the dash mounting holes perfectly.

Re the clutch, if you get a bit of judder, when crawling or reversing, specially around tickover revs, I've been told its normal.

- Car went in last week and the mechanic said if felt normal, sales person said he noticed it a lot when moving new cars around to. Its getting better with miles though.
