Nothing new- it tried to kill me!
Discussion
Having searched the forum for issues with speed six airboxes I noticed that there are many that are held together with string and glue. Well unbeknown to me, part of my airbox came away and lodged itself in the butterfly whilst at about 5,000 revs and wanted to rev the engine to pieces.
Trying to brake with an engine running out of control albeit for three or four seconds before being in control enough to switch off the ignition was scary enough. Had it been wet then it would have been quite different in outcomes. I doubt it would have stayed on the road.
