Afternoon everyone, I seem to have developed a dull clunking noise coming from the rear of the car, not affected by braking, definitely rotational, seems worse under accelaeration

Anyone had similar or the same?

Cheers.

Would the knocking from worn bushes increase in time with engine rpm?

Do you notice any slack in take up when coming on and off the throttle?

No it seems to drive exactly the same but with added knocking.

Engine rpm rather than road speed, ie slows again on gear changes?

Worse under acceleration but still there when cruising?
Not noticeable when stationary and definitely from the rear?

Logically it could be the diff, cv joints or wheel bearings. When a bearing went in my diff it was more like a whine than anything else so hopefully not that.

The frequency definitely increases with rpm, Its not a whine, a dull clunking.
