What a rip off!!
Discussion
Well after 8 years, about 6 years on the car and 42000 miles the exhaust I bought off Paul (gsx600) has rotted away! ;^)
To be more precise, the straight under-diff pipe has rotted, and has more holes than the wife's colander.
However the stainless centre box is still in good nick (despite many scrapes) so I am fabricating a new rear pipe. The selection on the flea has really improved over the years and I'm going up from 2 1/2" pipe to 3" so I expect a fruitier sound.
Also I'm getting swaged sections that clamp together which should make fitting and removal of sections much easier. Once I get the bits lined up in place I'll post up some piccies.

Ha ha! Well the bits have just arrived, and the pipe is so wide it wouldn't look out of place on a Saxo!
I think I had better squash it oval in a couple of places before it gets squashed by the first speed bump.
I reckon it will sound awesome, I used to play the tuba and managed to get a nice gruff note out of it.
I've just got to join it onto the tailpipe section which is already stainless that I made a few years ago. Hopefully cleaning up the slightly industrial look under the rear of the car.
