centre binnacle speedo conversion

i'M WANTING TO SWAP A THREE CLOCK DIAL SET FOR THE OLD CENTRE BINNACLE JOBBY. I KNOW THE SPEEDO MIGHT NEED RECALLOBRATING BUT WHAT IS INVOLVED REGARDS THE ELECTRICS. i'VE HEARD THAT YOU CAN BUY THE REQUIRED WIRING AND ITS PRETTY SIMPLE, BUT DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ELSE

Mini Spares do a conversion loom, I think its about £25. Not sure what happens to the rev counter on the 3clock dash, I guess you can wire this to an external Smiths rev counter.

This is on my to-do list for my Rover Cooper as well, although due to having a cage and harnesses, I will probably need a big stick to control the radio when I have to move it below the passenger dash rail!!
