Hi, I am staying in Barcelona for a few days in June. Other than parking rental websites, is free on-street parking viable? The place in which I am staying is

Carrer de Valencia, 455
Eixample
08013 Barcelona

I went to Barcelona in March of last year to buy a Benelli Sei (motorcycle), and used an app called Parkapp.
https://www.parkapp.com/

I found a tremendous variety of prices, and could choose some rather reasonaly priced parking as opposed to leaving things to chance and having to pay whatever they were asking. Parking can ben quite expensive, as in any big city.

I have no financial interests, blah blah blah, but you may want to check out this application. If I had to go back, I'd use it again. It worked very well for me.

Thank you for your response. In the meantime, I have also found Parclick which seems to suit my purposes and offer parking at €10 per day.

Have you been yet? How did you find the parking? We're taking the car over to Palma, Mallorca and on the way home we're staying at Barcelona for a few days. We need somewhere secure and safe to leave my Porsche. Worried about it getting scratched. I was looking at Parclick and going to park in the main underground car park near the hotel and the port. It's about €59 for three days I think. Just wondered how safe these car parks actually were. Apparently they are guarded and have cameras.

Hi,

I have literally just walked back from leaving the car. It is manned but the internal barrier (from what I can make out) is open from 8pm to 8am. It is also extremely bloody tight in there.

edit: the wonky picture is of another o/s/r graze thanks to the massive pillars.

He issued me with a key and told me how to turn on the lights and pointed me to a contact number in case of a problem. Upon reflection, perhaps he was telling me that the key opened the barriers and that I could get assistance if required.
