Having spent the last few years bringing up a family and working too much I’ve gone and bought a car I never thought I’d own.

Fortunately on the weekends it looks like this.

Is that track Winton can't think of anywhere in NSW with that backdrop, appears to be a NSW plate on the car and Winton is sorta close by

A well driven MX-5 can be surprisingly rapid and I've never seen a driver get out of one that isn't smiling

It was a NSW car but has been welcomed over to the dark side (Qld). Don’t know the track as it was a pick by the previous owner. I’m running. It at Qld Raceway in a couple of weeks then Lakeside Park shortly after. Hoping to do the Noosa Hillclimb later in the year plus Morgan Park and Norwell Sprints.
Hopefully the smile stays on!

I've not been to QR but you will enjoy Lakeside and Morgan Park. Don't fall off the black stuff at Lakeside it is unforgiving as you will find out at the drivers briefing.

Winton was only a guess because of what looks like public buildings in the background, Winton has a primary school across the road from the main entrance and it seems like the locals & council embrace the track being there but having said that you will get a reaming if you break noise limits & noise curfew
