Cars you never see anymore on UK roads post-1990
Discussion
After going back and watching old Top Gear episodes (specifically, the "cheap car" episodes), it made me curious, what "modern" cars have vanished from British roads that used to be commonplace, say, a few years ago? Here are 10 that I can think of:
1. Ford Escort
2. Vauxhall Cavalier
3. MG Rover products (Metro/100, 200, 400, 800, etc.)
4. Older Korean/Malaysian cars (Hyundai, Kia, Daewoo, Proton, Perodua)
5. Citroen AX
6. Peugeot 205
7. Vauxhall Vectra (early examples at least)
8. Ford Probe
9. Nissan Primera
10. Peugeot 306
Again, these are just 10 examples, and I am certainly aware of plenty more, but for the sake of convenience, I am letting other PHers list more.

Renault 25. Never massively common anyway, but I'm nostalgic for them as my dad used to own one, and I remember seeing others around at the time. I haven't seen on in the UK in about 15 years now. Have seen them in France however.
Can't remember the last time I saw anything large and French, including the Vel Satis, Avantime and C6. Even the current big Pug is quite rare.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
