Driving abroad Tvr Tuscan mk1

This may be a completely obvious question
Can I just buy the normal sticker to put on the headlights for driving abroad or do I have to use the yellow paint
The reason being is that the lights on the Tuscan mk1 are very small

Not added any masking on mine when abroad but usually don’t need to drive in the evening 🍷🍾🍻

I never used anything on my my mk1 or my mk2.
For many years I spent about 4 months a year in mainland Europe driving the Tuscans. Never got flashed, never got questioned.
I don't think they are biased left or right.

I put some masking tape on the first time I went to Europe and one of the lenses cracked as a result so that was a hasty repair before we could leave. I havn’t bothered since, I don’t drive in the dark over there anyway.

I've driven down to and around Italy many times and never had a problem other than the occasional flash and have driven a lot at night.
I'm not sure if they're biased, but if set up correctly to pass the MOT the range is pretty poor anyway as the lights are so low. Upgraded HiD may be different however.
My advice is don't worry and enjoy the attention it gets.

take a roll of electrical tape with you, if you get flashed then either adjust the beams down a little or fit some tale to the area that throws the beam up the lhs

You can adjust the Tuscan headlights by loosening three screws (at A,B,C below) on the back of the headlight, turning a few degress and tightening it back up.
However, since you have to take the bonnet off, unscrew the sidepanels to get to the headlights and then fumble around trying to find the bloody screws, nobody bothers.

That’s how I ended up with a cracked lends. In my original reply I put masking tape, I meant to say electrical.
