There are test mules out there running on D4 platforms running RRS bodies that have been shortened. LR will never confirm it, but many are speculating that those mules are the new Defender.

Last thing I heard was it was going to be shown at the end of this year, but we'll have to see...

Apparently they will offer a pickup version to rival the Merc X-Class.

If they are only offering it as a single cab it's not really a rival to the Merc...or anything else.

Double cabs are popular, single cabs are not! Not really seeing their thinking there.

Autocar are remarkably good at getting this kind of thing wrong so I wouldn’t believe any of it to be honest.
