Confused by which brake brands to go for?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to buy discs and pads for my car I have the following options:
Eicher premium £54.91
Pagid £90.98
Brembo £94.88
Which ones should I go for? What is the main difference between the two? I'm trying to justify paying an extra £36 for Pagid or £40 for Brembo. I plan on keeping the car for 2 years for NCB purposes but not sure how many miles I will do per year... could be anywhere from 15-25k.
I'm giving my car info in case anyone can suggest a better brand for a better price.

Pagids are ok, and the paint on the top hats seems to keep unsightly rust at bay.

I've never used Eicher, I've not had a problem with premature wear on Pagids. I also have an option for Bosch discs and pads at £98.13

Paid discs are decent, as someone mentioned the coated centres keep rust away and means the discs don't need a good clean before you put them on.
The pads are so so. Ok for slow speed stuff but motorway speeds they don't tend to slow the car quickly.
Go for pagid discs with maybe some brembo pads? Or see if you can source some other pads, jurid make alot of OEM pads, mintex are a decent brand as well.

Never had a problem with Pagid Pads, currently have them on my Merc SL (1800 kg) and it stops just fine. The pads are so so. Ok for slow speed stuff but motorway speeds they don't tend to slow the car quickly.

It's a 1.3 Corsa not bloody Ferrari ! Any of those brands will be fine, seriously stop fretting about it! Pagid's have painted bells which look a bit better longer if you have wheels with big holes, otherwise just buy what you can get for a decent price.

Absolutely no clue. I've just bought it and haven't had a chance to drive it yet thanks to ridiculous insurance premiums at my age.. had to set it to start a month ahead but my Dad's mechanic friend confirmed I need new discs and pads. I reckon it's all genuine stuff as the car was owned by a disabled man and was always serviced at Vauxhall dealerships.Sanchez89 said:

This is the second most expensive combination at £96.18. I can get a full Bosch set for £98.13? Deciding between the following:
- Pagid set: £90.98
- Brembo set: £94.88
- Pagid discs with brembo pads: £96.18
- Bosch set: £98.13

You've seen a variety of well known manufacturers offering similar products at similar prices. There is no significant difference between them. Pick one and buy it. It makes no difference which one you pick so go for whichever one is easiest for you to buy or comes in the nicest looking box or smells best or whatever criteria you want to use. Roll the dice if you can't make up your mind. Just do it.

I know you will call me a pedantic tw@ but it is not possible to buy anything from ebay.
ebay is simply a means of advertising & the ONE thing that it DOES allow you to do that the "high street" doesn't is to see what previous buyers think.
I will quite gladly buy off reputable retailers advertising on ebay.

Here's my take on it (FWIW), and I fit brakes day in day out.
Cheap stuff, we use the motor factor Brake fit brand. No-one has ever heard of them, and they are really cheap, but actually never had a problem with them.
Bit more expensive, I quite like the Juratech pads, as they have a nice friction bit in the middle of the pad, and stop nicely from the off.
Bit more expensive - Apec. While their calipers are excellent, and I won't use anything else, I've personally had lot's of issues with 'warp' with Apec. The pads are also very hard, and take a long while to bed in, but consequently last a long time.
Good stuff, Mintex is very good.
I personally don't like Bosch as I've had several discs 'warp' due to casting imperfections, so I tend to avoid them.
Delphi brakes are very good indeed.
I've fitted Pagid, and Brembo,and the're fine, but not worth it for the extra money (IMO).
