Seat EXEO Central Locking/Alarm issues
Discussion
Hi All
First time posting and really in need of some help. Have a 2011 Seat Exeo ST which is causing problems. Came back off holiday to find battery in car was dead, jump started it off another car but electric windows weren't working, nor was remote central locking. Replaced the battery and all seemed good but remote central locking still refuses to work, but everything else now does. The problem being that whilst I can lock the car manually, about 45 seconds later the alarm goes off and keeps going off. This is constant and only solution is to not lock the car.
So far I have tried re-synchronising the key by following the handbook and all sorts of other instructions online - no joy. Replaced the battery in the key - zero difference. Had an Auto Locksmith out and they had zero success in re-programming the key and don't know what the issue is - only thing they could think of was a fuse or relay. However, my handbook doesn't list a fuse for the central locking on the fuse board - does anyone know which one it is? Also, if anyone has any other ideas I'll gladly hear them. It's the family car and at the minute I can't really use it which is causing big problems.
Thanks
